Very good blog post. I just had this come up with one of my seo clients where we were suggesting a change of domain name from .com to .co.uk as they are a UK business and are only targeting the UK market.

I bought a .gs ignoring the rules and I think is much harder to rank a ccTLD internationally than a TLD.
